Researchers from security firm, Bitdefender have discovered a new malware family that opens a backdoor via the Tor network on Mac OS X systems. Bitdefender researchers have named the malware as Backdoor.MAC.Eleanor. The security researchers said that the Eleanor creators are spreading the malware through phishing and EasyDoc Converter, a Mac app that allows users to convert files by dragging them over a small window. According to Bitdefender, EasyDoc in reality is created just to run the malicious Eleanor payload....
