Tyupkin malware allows fraudsters to enter a Pin code and take out up to 40 notes at once!Tyupkin A research published by Kaspersky Lab said that they have discovered a new malware named Tyupkin solely developed for this purpose. The Tyupkin malware impacts ATMs from a particular ‘major’ ATM manufacturer and only systems running on 32-bit Windows operating system, Kaspersky said. Kaspersky Labs has informed Interpol, which in turn is mounting a widespread investigation across the USA, India, France, Israel, Malaysia and China....

The news comes as a surprise when several reports floated by the US-based media, including Bloomberg News, suggested that the security firm had powerful ties than initially believed with Russian intelligence agency FSB. The General Services Administration (GSA) who confirmed the news to AFP said that “GSA’s priorities are to ensure the integrity and security of US government systems and networks and evaluate products and services available on our contracts using supply chain risk management processes....

The deal would include Yahoo real estate assets, and online assets including search, mail and instant messaging, along with its ad technology. However, intellectual property assets are expected to be sold separately, according to Bloomberg. The purchase could hand Verizon the popular sites Tumblr and Flickr. Verizon, which is one of the largest US carriers, is facing market saturation and limited growth prospects in its traditional business. With its purchase of Yahoo, that follows its acquisition of AOL in May 2015, the company is hoping to become a player in the fiercely contested advertising space....

It now appears that the social media giant is reportedly working on integrating Facebook Messenger with WhatsApp to enable communication between the two platforms. Now, WhatsApp has changed its plans saying that it won’t restrict any functionality, even if users don’t accept the new updated policy, after speaking with governments and privacy advocates. “Given recent discussions with various authorities and privacy experts, we want to make clear that we will not limit the functionality of how WhatsApp works for those who have not yet accepted the update,” a WhatsApp spokesperson told The Verge in a statement....
